It's Friday

My husband doesn't have work every other friday and so he is here with me today. We watched movie here, talk a little and take some rest. I like when he is with me. I don't feel lonely. He always makes me smile. Friday is probably my favorite day.

Doing like a baby does

My friend use to tell me that when you get very old you are like a baby again. I was like how is that possible? Because you are doing what a baby is doing like you will be wearing a diaper but by that time it would be an adult diaper of course. My husband is slow.

When you get married that is the time that you will learn a lot from your partner. I thought that I had already escaped the slowness of my sister but I did not. My husband is slow. My first Driving Lesson

I just had my first driving lesson and I am very happy that I was able to perform it good. At first I was a little nervous but when the car started to move and it goes to the right way that made me wanted to do it more.

First she taught me about what to use inside the car like where the signal is located, the mirrors, the horn and how to change a gear… etc.

It wasn’t hard at all. I do have some problems especially when turning into a curve.
I steer the wheel correctly but I don’t end up to the right place. I am like drunk. I moved it to left and right. Hehehe! But I know that it takes time to be able to be used to it.

I was just happy and she told me that next time we are going to drive on a residential area. Wow! That was quick. I sure hope that I will be fine if that happen. Huh!

Our 2nd Anniversary

Yesterday was our 2nd Anniversary. I was thankful that we've been this far and hoping to celebrate it more.

Last Sunday my friend invited us to her house for lunch. Some of my friends are there too. My friend cooked so good. She cooked filipino foods. I liked it and I also liked the barbeque. An Appointment

We had an appointment yesterday with the USCIS. They took my finger prints and I had my picture taking. I was happy that everything went well with our papers. My husband hired an attorney the first time regarding my spousal visa and with this change of status we did it on our own that is why we are a little scared that they might reject our paper but it’s so nice that there are a lot of information you can find on the internet. We just followed those steps and happy that they did not reject it. So, I’m done with the biometrics and just waiting for the next step.

I hate being on a cold place. I remember when I first came here. I was alone traveling for about 23 hours. It was a boring trip but glad to say that I was able to handle it myself and not being afraid anymore. I receive a lot of advices from my family and friends. My first real relationship was in college and it lasted for five months.

My parents doesn't allow us to date. They never knew I was dating someone until I reach college.

crying and telling him I can't live without you. hahaha!!

Do you mean on my past? Because my relationship with my husband is the longest. We have been married for almost 2 years. Next to that was one year but it didn't work out that good at the end.

6. How long did you date before you decided to settle down?
~I've been dating for about 6 years? I started when I was in high school and I settle down when I was at the age of 20. hehehe!

7. How did you know he was the ONE?
We have a good connection with each other.

8. Now, at what age will you allow your kids(s) to date?
Hopefully after they graduate from college.

9. When it comes to your kids dating, will you be a cool parent or a strict parent?
Hmm!! Maybe a cool parent.

Motivating Story

A story is told about a soldier who was finally coming home after having fought in Vietnam. He called his parents from San Francisco.
"Mom and Dad, I'm coming home, but I've a favor to ask. I have a friend I'd like to bring home with me."
"Sure," they replied, "we'd love to meet him."

"There's something you should know the son continued, "he was hurt pretty badly in the fighting. He stepped on a land mind and lost an arm and a leg. He has nowhere else to go, and I want him to come live with us."

"I'm sorry to hear that, son. Maybe we can help him find somewhere to live."
"No, Mom and Dad, I want him to live with us."

"Son," said the father, "you don't know what you're asking. Someone with such a handicap would be a terrible burden on us. We have our own lives to live, and we can't let something like this interfere with our lives. I think you should just come home and forget about this guy. He'll find a way to live on his own."

At that point, the son hung up the phone. The parents heard nothing more from him. A few days later, however, they received a call from the San Francisco police. Their son had died after falling from a building, they were told. The police believed it was suicide. The grief-stricken parents flew to San Francisco and were taken to the city morgue to identify the body of their son. They recognized him, but to their horror they also discovered something they didn't know, their son had only one arm and one leg.

The parents in this story are like many of us. We find it easy to love those who are good-looking or fun to have around. We would rather be away from people who are not healthy, beautiful or smart as we are. But the soldier just wanted to have that unconditional love from his parents not matter how messep up he is.

My friend told me that there is a storm coming and asked me if I did some preparation. I told her. No! She told me to get ready just incase the there will be a blackout. She is right. Moving Overseas?

Last March we moved to another apartment and I tell you it’s not fun at all. My husband, his friend and I moved the things from the old apartment to the U-haul to our apartment. My husband actually gave some of his things like the trend mill, computer table, the bed set. I was a little sad because those things are still good but he gave it so that we don’t be carrying heavy things at all. But to be honest with you all that are left is still heavy because of those books.

Next year, we will be moving to a new house and he told me that we are going to hire someone to help us move things to our new house. I was happy to hear that. I was all sore before and I don’t want to be that sore again.

Week End
