Circumcision is a simple operation wherein the glans or foreskin of the male organ is cut or removed. Circumcision is done to maintain the cleanliness of the glans. If the foreskin is not removed, dirt may accumulate along the folds of the skin, thus, causing itching and infection.
Proper care is necessary to hasten the haling of the wound of the newly circumcised adoloescent. The following steps will help in healing the wound.
1. Use loose pajamas, shorts or pants to allow the passage of air and induce healing.
2. Change underwear everyday to maintain the cleanliness of the wound.
3. Avoid touching the wound with your hands. If this cannot be avoided, wash and soap the hands to avoid infection.
4. Keep the glans dry after urinating.
5. Eat adequate and nutritious food to hasten the healing of the wound.

^^ the glans or foreskin of the male organ is cut ^^
I hope that's just a typo.
Over 90% of the world's non-Muslim families don't circumcise. The male foreskin is easier to care for than female genitals. The AAP sums up their own recommendations thusly: Leave it alone, clean what is seen.
The foreskin is exactly the same tissue as the clitoral hood and labia minora until 3 months gestation, at which time differentiation commences. The male's foreskin is exactly as vital to his full sexual experience as the clitoral hood and labia minora are to a female's.
Every person has the basic human right to be free of non-emergency amputations until they can make their own informed decisions.
Foreskin feels REALLY good.
There is no reason to get circumcised for "cleanliness" reasons. There is nothing dirty about foreskin. All of that was dis-proven a very long time ago.
Penn and Teller illustrate this very well in their show Bullshit

"Circumcision is a simple operation" - wrong. Complications are not uncommon, occasionally as severe as loss of the penis and death.
"wherein the glans or foreskin of the male organ is cut or removed." - wrong.
"Circumcision is done to maintain the cleanliness of the glans. If the foreskin is not removed, dirt may accumulate along the folds of the skin, thus, causing itching and infection." - wrong. Keeping it clean is easy - and fun! (Maybe THAT's why they cut it off.)
"... the newly circumcised adoloescent." - If having a foreskin is so risky, how did he reach adolescence without itching and infection? My guess is you're writing in the Phillipines, where circumcision (commonly in the minor form of a dorsal slit, supercision) is done at the beginning of puberty for all sorts of excuses but one real reason, CONFORMITY.
