A lot of Stores are CLOSING

We went to the mall last Saturday and we parked in front of the circuit city’s parking area and we saw a big banner stating that they are CLOSING. Meaning they are selling all their stuff and they were giving a discount in almost every thing there. So, we checked to see their printer and decided to buy it but we first went to some other store and bought stuff for my friend’s baby shower after that I bought a sweater and I have noticed 2 other stores that are also CLOSING. That is sad. Well, we are all affected with this economic problem.

We went back to Circuit City and purchased the printer (4 in 1) with a 10% discount. Not bad at all.

Table Cloth

I am still learning how to cook. I depend on the recipes a lot and most of what I cook turns out to be good. That’s what my husband told me. :-) We make it a habit that we will eat at the dining table instead bringing it into the living room so we could still watch our favorite show.

Our dining table is very simple and I was hoping I could buy a table cloth for it like the one from Sferra which my friend told me.

Driving at Night

I like driving at night and I feel safer but my friend told me that it’s not because there might be a lot of drunk drivers out there. And also I like it because there’s not that much car at night.

I was hoping I could take the Road Test but my husband did not teach me how to parallel park yet. I told him to get me 2 hours driving class again because I don’t think he will have the chance to teach me. It cost $47.00 an hour. Hmm! pretty expensive but hope I’ll do well.

An Advice to my Sister

I spoke to my sister this morning and I asked her about how they are doing there. She told me that they are fine and she asked me if I saw the pictures she sent on my email and I said yes. She then said something about her gaining weight. I noticed that too, when I look at the pictures.

I advice her to consider taking diet pills and do some exercises before it gets worst. Hope she listens to what I said.

Are those Junk Mails?

Well, half of it might be. Before, my husband just places the mails everywhere and every time I clean I could see mails here and there. I hate that kind of habit of him and so what I did is that. I placed one box near his computer table and told him to put all the mails there so that by the end of the month we are going to put those important mails in their designated boxes and throw away those that are not.

Well, as you know it’s not yet the end of the month but because we weren’t able to do it last month so I decided to do it today. Look above. The table is now full of mails.

Digital Signage

Every once in a while I go shopping with my friends or with my husband but it’s best if I go with my friends because I could spend a lot of time looking for some nice clothes than to be with my husband complaining about him getting bored and wanting me to hurry up. I certainly like being at the mall because not only do I see clothes, purses and shoes but I get see those digital signage that also catches my attention. I think those signage are cool. And I also enjoy roaming around the mall and looking for some great sale.

What a Day

Today was a busy day for us. About 9:00am we went to the clinic for my check up and it was not fun at all. Then we ate at Wendy’s and we went to apply for my SSN. Huhu! We arrived there about 11:30am and they call my number around 3:20pm. I was pissed. I don’t mind waiting there for a while but for 3 hours or more that is not right. Well, at least I learn something. Next time I will go there early. After that we stopped by Fry’s because my husband wants to buy a new printer unfortunately they don’t have stock for those printers that we like. So, he ends up buying a PC game and a book for me. Lastly, we stopped by Khol’s coz I return one dress. It was a beautiful dress but it was kinda big. And what a small world, we saw Janet there. My husband bought something from there and thats it. We went home. We arrived here about 6:30pm and I still have the energy to write something. Hehe!

Flowers from my Husband

I always like it when my husband gave me flowers. I prefer to receive flowers and card from him than any kind of gifts. He is so sweet and hoping he will be like that forever. I am thankful that I have him. I always tell him how much I love and care for him.

Branson Missouri

Recently I visited Branson Missouri and was delighted to find this nice, charming and fun place with the bright lights of Las Vegas, the live musical theater entertainment of New York City, and the clean fun of Orlando. When my best friend suggested Branson, I had to ask her where was the city located because I had never heard of it. But let me tell you, now that I have been there I will never forget it. It was one of the best places I have ever visited. If any of my friends are planning a vacation, I will be more than happy to advise them on booking a vacation package for a Branson getaway. Anyone can find great accommodations there and visit the exciting theme parks or one of the many live shows. I got to see the Oak Ridge Boys perform live and my husband played golf at the Thousand Hills Golf Resort. The short of it is that we had fun.

A Letter from my Husband

Dearest Ccel,

I am always thinking about you and sometimes I smile when I remember some thing you said or did. Everyday I become more conscience of how important you are to me and how you touch every facet of my life. In my mind and heart I find myself telling you what you mean to me.

It is there that I rhapsodize about your beauty, sense of style, grace, kindness and intelligence. It is there that I compare you to flowers or the sun or a starry night. But in the end there is a realization that you are much more than that. In the end your my wife, my heart and my inspiration. That is when I know that I do not need to write the words to paper because of you I write then in my heart.

Window Blinds

I’m looking towards the window blinds right now since my computer table is facing the window and I was thinking how I wish I could change the blinds. Unfortunately I can’t because we are just living in an apartment and we don’t want to mess up what they have provided us.

I guess I will do that if we transfer to a new house. I wanted to try the wood blinds or the bamboo shades. I bet it would look good.

Desperate

I really wanted to learn how to create different style of layout but whenever I try doing it a lot of problem arises and in the end, I stop and say it was a waste of time. I know how to create template header. I guess you have notice it on my blog but that’s not enough. I wanted to learn how they did it.

Sometimes, I tried leaving message to those people who knew about it and I just ask simple questions but they never reply. GGrrr!! Well, if they don’t want to share what they know then I guess I am going to figure it out myself.

Office Furniture

My husband has been busy at his company this past week with the current move to the new building. He told me that they are going to buy new office furniture for their group and he is looking forward to that. He told me that the old furniture they were using had drawers that got stuck and chairs that can’t be adjusted easily. So, he is happy that they are replacing it.

Make up Makeover

We went to Macy*s last Saturday because I set an appointment at MAC for my make up makeover. Honestly, I don’t know how to put make up and I am confused on what type of eye shadow, blush, etc. to get. So, it was a good idea that we went there. The result was beautiful. I like it. We bought almost every thing that the girl used on me but it was very expensive. Hahaha!

Well, for sure I won’t be buying make up stuff for a long time.

What time is it?

What time is it now? My husband always ask me about the time when in fact he knew that I don’t have a watch and I don’t bring my cell phone with me all the time. So, the last time he asked me about the time. I told him that it is time for you to buy a watch. You might ask what about his cell phone. Oh! He doesn’t want to own one. So, he told me that he is going to buy a Swatch watch.

Remembering my High School Friends

I like friendster so much because you can actually add friends from around the world and even if I am far from where I grew up, I can still be updated because I can see pictures that my friends uploaded in their friendster account.

I missed my high school friends. The last time I saw most of them was during our Graduation. Wow! That was a long time ago and I wonder what they are doing now.

I heard a lot already graduated in college but some are still going to school, some get pregnant, some get married and others are now working. I wonder what will happen 5 years from now.

I wish to see them one day when I go back. Hopefully, they will still recognize me as their friend. I wish them all the best and including me. Hehe!

Paying Post

Being in the house and doing just cleaning, cooking, sleeping etc. is a very boring thing. I was new here in the United States one year ago and I wanted to do something like working so I could help my husband but I can’t work because we need to go through the papers before I could finally work. So, what can I do? How can I help my husband?

It was my friend who introduces me to do blogging. She told me that I could earn money through it. At first, I have no idea on what to do but my friend is always there to help me. I blog about the things I love. About my experiences, my frustrations, my achievements, etc. For me blogging is like a diary.

Then after 3 months I started to earn some bucks. I joined a lot of websites but I am only successful to a few sites. I figured that if your blog has a high rank then most likely you will get a lot of opportunity. So, I search on how to increase page rank and it helps me. Two of my blogs has a rank now and I am happy about it which means that I could get a lot of opportunity but ofcourse I don’t have to abuse it because page rank can go up and down.

Here I am now. One year has passed by and I am still blogging, still thinking about interesting topics to be posted on my blogs and still joining to some new paying website. The other day I check to see if my blog has increase it’s rank and I was glad that two of my blog got rank. The Travel Now blog got rank 2 and the Cecille’s Creativity got rank 1. It just made me wanna do blogging more. Hopefully, I will still have interesting topics to post.

Hopefully next time it will increase even more. Hehe!

I have been blogging for about one year now and I am addicted to it. I was happy that my friend introduces me with it since I am a stay at home wife. So, it gives me something to do rather than to do nothing. I love sharing my experiences and for me blogging is like my diary. I think one way of getting attention for readers to read on your blog is by placing pictures to every post you are doing. So, this is what I did. I place a picture that is related to my topic and I think my blog gain more attention than before.

Of course, it takes time to look for pictures because you need to consider certain things like copyright and license to those images. So, I search and search and found this website called Acobox. Am I going back to the Philippines?

Yesterday, my husband and I talked about sending me back to the Philippines so I could finish my Nursing course. It would probably take me 2 years to finish it. So, when I come back here in the United States, I can work as a Nurse. It’s really not a bad idea. Of course, I need to study hard for me to graduate on time.

On the other side, it makes me sad because I will be away from him again. If I will stay here then I am going to look for a job and later on go to school but I won’t take a 4 year course here.

Now, I am confused. I just hope whatever decision I make, is worth it.

Franchise

My husband came home today after a long day of work. He was getting tired of the same old routine at the office. He told me that he want to look into a small business franchise and branch out on his own. I must admit I do like the money he generates from his job but I would support him if he really wanted to start his own business.

Happy New Year!

Well, before I close my Dairy of 2008. I am going to recall what I have achieved, experienced, encountered and learned last year. First, I was happy to be with my husband. We were away from each other for one year. I found some great friends. I tend not to have conflict with them. Not because I am afraid of them but because I don’t want to have enemies. I have been to a lot of places. We waited so long before we filed for my papers but it wasn’t such a bad idea because I end up getting longer years of renewing it. I have learned to understand my husband more. A lot of times I felt so bored and I lose hope but every time I think about my goals in life, I gain strength from it. I started blogging and I am addicted to it. I forget to pray. I don’t want to just pray because I’m sick or that I needed something. I want to pray because I want to thank God for everything and to ask for forgiveness. I cried so many times because I missed my family, friends, I felt somebody is hurting my feelings, etc. I received a lot of things this year but it’s not really the things that can make me happy. Huh!

I could say that it wasn’t such an exciting 2008 for me but still glad that I have done something and hoping that this year 2009 will be a better year for me.
