Ondoy left Philippines but...

I am very thankful to God that Ondoy typhoon leaves the Philippines but there is an incoming typhoon to get in the country. It is Piping. But I am sure that my countrymen (the Filipinos) are now aware and prepared of its coming. Evacuation centers and relief goods are given to the victims of Ondoy and I am sure if what Piping will cause, the Filipinos are now ready.

I just hope and pray that my countrymen (the Filipinos) will recover from this successive natural occurrence.

I don't know why someone tries to cause trouble at me today. I am just sitting in a corner with my computer and suddenly a person always utter words that is out of childish acts. She is always talking gossips, hearsay, false beliefs that she is questioning my religion. That is too much to talk about.

I don't know why she is always acting that way. I don't know why such attitude is present in her. Almost everyday, talking with the same topic that can cause the fight. But I didn't start to make the fight. It is her.

For me, IT IS NOT A BIG DEAL! But I think, she is just extremely jealous of us.

I miss riding on this "banka" (small boat) that is especially be seen in the Philippines. Looking back on the 20th of October, 2007, frankly, this day is significant to me because it is my first time to have a ride with this "banka". I have experience riding on a ship and it is not ordinary for me to ride on this.

It was my friend's idea that we will take a rest from work and enjoy ourselves with nature through having a picnic in one of the beach resort near Cagayan de Oro City. What makes me glad is the first close-up, realistic experience riding on a "banka" at 22 years old.

I have been loving and liking music since I was a little kid. My mother heads me up to this extraordinary expression of art that excels me in the field of singing and playing instrument like the piano.

Expecting him...?!?

I received a text from someone whom I didn't know. The message is beautiful. It expresses how important I am to that person. I am curious who he or she is but I am thinking of someone who is part of my past (ex-boyfriend). I don't want to expect a lot but it seems that I have the feeling that it is him. (I hope so!) :-)

Sweet words always...?

Expressing myself last day of the big problem I had ends up with no remedy. It aggrevates more that cause me to shed tears. My eyes are heavy now.

Does life promises us with always sweet words and happy-ending stories? Is telling the whole truth a big deal?

I often ask that if I confess to someone about the hurt I felt everytime, she wants to end the conversation with nothing else but sweet words. Why should I pretend myself telling happy stories if it is not true after all? What is the use of living if it resides in pretentious identity, masking the whole truth.

I don't mean to give neither pass the burden for someone to solve. All I want is to be heard so that my feeling of hurt will be lessen. Is it hard to understand?

I don't want cash nor material possessions just to ease the pain the I felt inside. What I want is AN ACT OF LOVE THAT LISTENS AND NEVER JUDGES.

In spite of all these, I can't promise those sweet words to tell everyday. I rather not pretend and covering the mess with happy thoughts and painless reality.

Reality resides in every problem that may arise.

I was impressed by my friend named Janice who works hard in order to go to school. She told me that they are many of them in the family, about 13 of them and she is the 4th from the eldest. Her parents could not sustain them in sending to school because her parents don't have better jobs that could help finance their expenses in school. Her mother is just a housewife and her father is just a carpenter. Her father just only have a work when there is someone who wants to ask him to repair something and that is the only way he could have money.

She further told me that her elder brothers (2) and her eldest sister already got married at an early age. Her brothers were 18 and 19 and her sister is just 16 years old when they get married. Her father let give them the consent to settle at an early age, because he and his wife couldn't afford to send them to school. But this is not Janice wanted her life to be. She is jealous seeing her other friends (their neighbors) going to school everyday. That is why, she decided to go to school and work as a working student in the campus. I find her sweeping the school ground, assisting in the Library, granting teacher's run-errands and cleaning the comfort room during her free time.

I am really impressed with what spirit and determination she has just to be in school to learn and get a better education for her future. Poverty is not a hindrance for her to quit learning. Now, I often see her working in the Principal's office during her vacant time.

Janice is a person with dreams and ambition. She is really working very hard just to be in school and to fulfill her dreams in the future.

She is a good example of a student who always find ways and will never surrender striving very hard for the fulfillment of her dreams.

Thoughts of this sayings.

I have received a text message from a friend this morning. It says, "If you take care of the things that are important to God, He will take care of the things that are important to you."

Taking care of God's possessions here on Earth is our chief role as we are given the responsibility as the steward over all His creations. Obtaining this BIG responsibility needs selfless acts of love and concern.

Oftentimes, we can't deny the fact that we sometimes have the tendency of selfishly prioritizing our own desires and wants due to personal interests of wealth and power. These kind of bad habits may lead to a serious vice of being greedy and self-centered. But if a person keeps saving for his own desires and needs, the price ends up that he will lose more of him.

The important things around us is the one that every individual is not capable of giving up. Such things are superficial.

Things that are considered valuable and precious come out of LOVE. If we selfishly extend and even sacrifice our personal desires, God provides a secure and better refuge.

So value, cherish and give importance to things that are own and what makes God happy for in the latter part, He will provide you a hundredfold.

Between wrong or right

"You will always see what's wrong when you are right, but you will never know which is right when you are happy doing wrong."

This ironic scenario is true. It is really existing and happening. One can't be able to distinguish if he is right when he is always enjoying in doing the wrong things. Why this is so? And in other instance as well, one can fully recognize what's wrong when he is doing the right thing.

This boils down to one top thing, EXPERIENCE.

We can tap things and realize if we are totally wrong or right if we come to experience a situation. But it is not an option to try doing the wrong thing in order for us to see if it is really wrong or if we testify to experience its invalidity.

Taking care of my pet cat.

I play with my cat. I have noticed that there are many lice. I took him to a bath. I use the hot water mix with the warm one. I slowly pour the water of his body and he reacted with strangely. I have lots of scratch but I never take this as a big deal. What is important is that there are no lice anymore in his body.
