My underarms stink.

I am super sensitive to body odor and perspiration. But no matter how natural sweat and odor are, I am protecting my underarms from them. Sadly, there are cases when I'm at work that my odor dominantly stink. Of course, that is always disgusting. I don't want to smell (like fish) at work because I often appear to persons (in fact, many of them). When this bacteria are reaching everyone's sense of smell, my days are totally ruined. Though guests never sense at all but I do matter it.

It's time of the year when everyone is thinking "back-to-school." I am just an ordinary Filipino-American citizen and I am thinking about my future. Yet, it is not too late to enroll.

Thus, choosing a program that suits my interests, goals and needs has been this easy. Me, I go for Accounting course.

Decorations I have made - Snowflakes and Felt Birds.

Being creative is such an educative way of performing art based on one's idea. Decorations such as snowflakes and felt birds are easy to make.

For Snowflakes:

All you need are popsicle sticks, buttons, craft glue, thread and scissors.

Glue three popsicle sticks together in an asterisk shape and let dry. Glue buttons along each stick. Be sure to position a large button at the end of one stick so that the button holes are not blocked. Push thin thread through large button hokes to hang.

For Felt Birds:

You will need felt, scissors, craft glue, sequins and spring clothespin.

You need to trace the bird and wing templates onto felt and cut out. Glue the wing to the body and decorate with sequins. Attach a clothespin to the back with glue.

Actually, I am getting into the world of artistic creativity now that I want to make creations using my precious idea and with my helpful hands. Indeed, achieving to make some is such an achievement!

Screw caps are better than cork.

A screw cap or closure is a common type of closure for bottles, jars, and tubes. A screw closure is a mechanical device which is screwed on and off of a "finish" on a container. It pays much to be in college.

Last Tuesday, I enrolled myself in the nearest tertiary school here, near in Katy, Texas. I was able to get 2 subjects (I thought that I couldn't catch the enrollment up) and I paid $699 for it. The school advised me to take English subjects. Fortunately, they credited my Algebra grades.

Indeed, to go in school here in the US is really expensive. But I believe this will bring good chances and various opportunities fro me being in school. But I have to wait for 6 years in order for me to finish my chosen field.

I was thinking before that I just have to work and work but my husband wants me to be in school. In order not to stop from working, I decided to be in school during daytime and be at work at night time.

This February 14 is the onset of my school life. Thus, I promise to myself to study harder because it's not easy to be in school. All the finances are expensive. This purpose is for my future and for the good of my family as well.

As a matter of fact, it is through electronics that the boom in the selling market are high and will increasingly be in its height.

I am one of the evidence of their products because at home, almost all the things that run and make my work easier and worthwhile is electronics.

Too much hair is not cool.

No matter how I want my skin to look flawlessly perfect, it doesn't seem to look so fine. Why? Because of hair (too much hair, in fact) in my arms and legs.

I want perfectly smooth, fully exfoliated skin that is soft and silky to touch. But I think that is just a dream now. I haven't find the right remedy for this.

There was a time when my husband and I had love-making and he used to touch my legs but I fervently laugh because of the tickling sensation brought by my hair. As a result, we ceased performing and end up just straight sleeping.

Indeed, the hair of my arms and legs deprived me from much pleasures - from wearing bikinis, short dresses and sleeveless shirts, etc. It makes me irritated and quite frustrating.

It said that to protect your child, give your pet deworming medication. Thus, washing his hands is always the best solution and keep him from playing in areas that could be contaminated by animals.

As a result, I bought sanitizers, alcohol and hand soap in order for my husband and I to be protected from Toxocara. Furthermore, twice a week, we bathe our dog to keep us safe. And I use to warn my husband never to play with Goofy much.

I want to have a degree.

Indeed, education matters. Being here in the USA for about 3 years now, I admit, I've experienced too much hardship especially that I was not able to finish my college years in the Philippines and I end up having no degree. But my want of a better future doesn't stop here. In fact, this February, I enrol in one of the best school here in Texas. I will take a 6-year course.

Of course, I have a dream. My dream is to be competitive in the field of business and to meet that want, I should equip myself with the proper, needed skills. As a result, I educate myself and be in the best school.

That is what I am pursuing now.

I have a sleep problem.

I definitely agree that I am one of those individuals who are victims of fewer shut-eye sleep. With much work and stress that I get from it, I don't feel like getting into sleep...and those bills, bills, bills. Who could have thought to sleep.

I often take sleeping medicine for me to at least make me sleep. I have been taking that for a lot of times. Indeed, my body is dependent with it. What matters to me is that I have "sleep". Oftentimes, I think that would it be possible for me to sleep without relying on medicine? That is my future goal. But the problem is...how?

Athlete's Foot: Ruining my work.

My work requires long hours of standing. With my closed-shoes, I'm wearing, I admit I suffer Athlete's Foot. Probably, because of my tight shoes and heat, my feet sweat a lot. There's no space for my feet to breathe. It's itchy, stingy and a burn between my toes on the soles of my feet are present. As a result, this fungal infection makes my day worst.

I don't want to be absent from work because of this infection. I bought and applied over-the-counter anti-fungal ointment. Actually, it's my fourth day of using the product now. But if my infection is severe, I prefer see a doctor directly. At least, I find relief now.

When a sock goes missing...

It's often a constant source of my frustration when after every load, there's at least one sock with no mate.

Really the machine eats them...maybe. I was thinking, the pair doesn't actually make it to the machine. One sock is probably at the bottom of the hamper or I overstuffed my traditional top-loader machine. Maybe when the agitation motion begins, the sock slips between the basket and the rim. Probably, there's a metal cavity behind it.

Or... The socks got separated in the dryer.
Or... The sock get sucked into the pump.

I don't really know where's the other mate. Maybe every once in a while, there is little bit of truth to the monster-in-the machine theory.

My way of caring my swimming gear.

I wear my complete set of technical (swimming) gear as I plunge into the deep water for me to learn how to dive.

As a result, I don't want to keep them dirty easily teared and left smell stinks. What I did is, to avoid discoloration, I turn the gear inside out before washing with cold water on the delicate cycle - or I hand-wash them to pamper the fabric. But if it's impossible to clean my gear soon after the race, I air dry it to keep bacteria at bay.

My husband and I are planning to buy a house, probably this year. We have been looking to some abandoned houses which were marked as "For Sale!". We have seen some of them and we come up with a decision to purchase the house (near Katy, Texas) which the floorings are perfectly made of floor tiles. It looks clean and I'm sure cleaning them is just so easy.

After all, what maters to us is a house that is truly be called a home. And that house is a home!
