Being in the US calls most of the time to think about my hometown, the Philippines. Aside from my family whom I surely miss, I miss to eat this Filipino food a lot.
This food is perfectly right for a balanced meal. There is the vegetables dish (carrots, peas, squash, sayote, etc.). The meat is tender and delicious with "lumpia" (rolled with meat in a cover), this wins my taste. Not only that, the dessert is so perfect! It is called "mango float". It is composed of cracker with mango and creams inside. It is best when cold. And not to forget, the rice which is the every pair of our meal everyday.
I really miss this food and luckily, I am that thankful I had a taste of them now.
